Wyatt is 9!!!!!!

Wyatt is 9!!! holy cow where did the years go!!!!!We had a great time this year for wyatt's birthday, he invited a few friends and the crew went to Toad's it turned out to be a great day so we got to mini golf outside!!! then went in for some pizza and arcade games, then home for cupcakes and a bit of basketball!!! those boys are full of life and energy( i wish they would share!!!) But it really was a great day, then on sunday which was his real birthday Bryce Kaylee and his grandma came over for some homemade macncheese(not my greatest dish ever) but we have a tradition in our house that on the birthdays the kids get to pick whatever they want for dinner and that was his pick( can you believe that haha!!!)

i remember when he was born and how excited we were to have another addition to our family!!! and i rememeber when he was 6 weeks old and sick and in and out of the hospital all the time thinking we were going to have to take him to primary childrens to figure out what was wrong with him.

and then the doctors telling us he would probably have asthma really bad because of all the problems and infections he had.

and to look at him now you would never know he spent a lot of his first three years at the doctors offices!

he is an amazingly healthy active strong amazing nine year old!!

the following is a tribute of sorts and definetly a momma moment for me showcasing some of wyatt is his earlier days so to speak!! i just love this little guy so much and am so thankful to be his mom!!! hope you enjoy!!!and of course me and Wyatt :)

he and paige have a complicated but special relationship, they are two peas in a pod so to speak and have many many disagreements but love each other after all is said and done!!!!

another halloween... he was a dead football player and paige a "barbie" Kody and I thought it looked like a little something else but who knows!!!!!

...Basketball....

this is what we have spent most of our winter doing this year.. Paige is on the freshman basketball team and plays every tue and thurs she has also been playing with the sophmores most games which is so fun for her!! She has practice every morning at 5:30( yes that is AM!!) Its been a killer for us (probably more her than us cuz we get to come home and she has to practice ha!) Then Wyatt plays on Tues nights with his traveling team, has a couple practices a week, plus he is already practicing with his baseball team so it keeps us running. I love to watch my kids play the sports they love and see them do well! So when we are not running to ball games or practices we try to get time away to go snowmobiling!! I am sure glad February is finally here because although I enjoy winter more than I use to since we have toys to play with I still am a warm weather kind of gal, and am excited that spring is around the corner!! Looking forward to all that lies ahead this spring and summer!!!

......My Cute Christmas Tree.....

okay-- now i know it is a month past Christmas but i just finally downloaded my card the other day and then started having problems with my photoshop(which i am completly stressed about!!!) But I had to put a picture of my cute tree on here more for me than anyone so I could look back and remember how cute it was haha!!! It was a great holiday season this year and we have so much to be thankful for!!!

Wintertime Fun

we have had a lot of fun the last couple of weekends going to Idaho snowmobiling and to the cabin. We also went to Lava Hot Springs to soak up the warm water but didn't get any pics there due to the steam rising from the water into the cold air. I probably should stay home and get things acomplished around my house, but have decided over the years that these are the things my family will remember the most when they get older is all of the fun things we did together, not whether my house was spotless and all my decorating was done to perfection!! I love hanging out with my family and enjoying all there personalities! We are excited it has been snowing today too because we are heading to play again this weekend!!! Family pics in the snow

This past Sunday was such a great day! My entire family was together once again and that hasn't happened for a while( well, Chelsea was home for Bryce's Wedding but it was such a crazy fun time that we really didn't get to spend time together as a family) so we picked Chels up from the airport on Saturday, got to visit and get her all settled in and then Sunday we had a family get together. Kody and the rest of the fam went to Tommy's homecoming and I had to go to YW to get ready for a Christmas Program at the nursing home, then after everyone came home, we had already talked about taking a family picture on this day since i knew everyone would be home, well as you all know (who live in Utah) we had some pretty major snow on Saturday, and Sunday afternoon it started back up again but since it was already planned and everyone was planning to be here I decided we should still just brave the storm!! Well it ended up being a pretty fun time and we got a few good pictures, i have said this before and will say it again-- It is really hard to be the one taking pictures of your own family- there were more blurry than not but we did get a few good shots and i will post them in just a minute. We came back home(warmed up) and had a great turkey dinner!! I am so thankful for my family and think lots of times I get so busy with everyday life that I don't take the time to remind myself and all of them how lucky I am!!!
